Hello,
I've been MIA for a few months, but need your input on this one! If you use the Oil Cleansing Method to wash your face, can you please answer these questions:
1- what type of skin do you have
2- What oil and in what proportion do you mix with the Castor Oil
3- How often to you use this wash
4- do you wear make up regularly
THANKS!!

Re: Oil cleansing method- questions
Mostly oily skin, 31 years old.
I use 25% castor, 40% jojoba and 35% EVOO. If I feel dry afterwards, I smooth on some additional jojoba (but I want to add rosehip oil as well)
I use OCM every night, and water only in the morning. I just couldn't go back to soap at all.
I wear eyeliner and mascara every day, but only wear tinted moisturizer once a week or so. I don't notice any difference in cleansing level with or without the tinted moisturizer, and the oil takes off my eye makeup in a snap.
OMG Maggie it's the BEST! https://www.theoilcleansingmethod.com/
My skin is amazing now, and I have struggled with acne since age 12.
It is supposed to be at night so the oil can soak in and your skin can rest. After reading a few forums (not sure the names, but I just google searched for reviews), I actually do it every night. I think you can start with just replacing your exfoliating days (1-2 a week) with OCM. Occasionally I feel to lazy to do it so I go back to my regular routine on those nights.
