PLEASE stop talking to me...

My cleaning lady is a very very nice lady, but today I feel like crap I just want to be left alone and she won't stop coming into the room Im in to ask me super personal questions or making comments about my pregnancy..

I just got:

"are you ready yet - LO will be here any day"

"why are you having an induction"

"are you planning on having more kids"

"your daughter is going to be so jealous"

etc.

Not the worst questions in the world, but I feel like hell lady... my one word answers should help you get the hint that today isnt the day to chat.  Sorry vent over.

  • So irritating! I give people one word answers, too. Now, when people ask about my appointments, I tell them there is no change, nothing to report, and we're just waiting. I don't give them any information at all.

BIL is the absolute worst with the questions. He asks he most ridiculous things all while waving his hands over my belly. Can you make him move? Do you feel "A-1?" When is he going to be born? Can you do something so I can feel him? Why does your back hurt? How do you make yourself go into labour? When is your actual due date? Will you have another? When? Are the dogs jealous? I'm glad you're not calling people to come to the hospital, I don't want to see my nephew all gross.

Ugh I just want to kick him. I give him the shortest answers possible. I don't mean to be miserable, and mostly, I'm not! But the incessant questions are too much. The questions from strangers, friends, family, and the texts! They're too much. Oh, and the repetitive comments! He'll come when he's ready, just wait..., sleep while the baby sleeps, enjoy your time off before the baby comes, you should walk a lot every day, etc etc etc. No wonder I just feel like hiding in the house until labour!

  • Oh I hear you all about the annoying comments! I turned the corner at work the other day and some guy was like WHOA YOU ARE HUGE. gee thanks, that is exactly what I want to hear 2 weeks before my due date.

People just dont know how to talk to pregnant women, and I guess I'm a little more hormonal so I get annoyed.

  • As annoying as the comments are now, I know they are only going to get worse and more annoying once LO is here.
