Saw this on an adoption blog this morning, and it made me think of you!
Do not be afraid, for I am with you;
I will bring your children from the east
And gather you from the west.
I will say to the north, 'Give them up!'
And to the south, 'Do not hold them back.'
Bring my sons from afar
And my daughters from the ends of the earth--
Everyone who is called by my name,
Whom I created for my glory,
Whom I formed and made.
? Isaiah 43:5-7
Praying your son comes home soon!! And to everyone else who is waiting... I'm praying for your kiddos too! ![]()
Re: ** jillianmb ** This made me think of you!
I LOVE this passage! It is especially significant to me because our little guy is in the "east" (russia) and we are in the "west." Also, when I was in seminary our school president would often use the phrase "do not be afraid" in his benedictions. That phrase is so close to my heart as I face many fears head on to accomplish this adoption.
Thanks so much for encouraging my heart today!
