At 19 weeks I was up 5 pounds. I'm going back on Thursday and I know I have gained cause I look about 2 months more preg since then. I don't own a scale so i only find out at the doc how much I've gained.
According to my scale at home, I'm probably up around 18 pounds total at 24 weeks. I have a doctor's appointment on Wednesday where I'll know for sure; I put on almost 10 pounds between weeks 16-20 so I've been weighing in once a week to make sure I don't put on that much at once again! I think I've put on maybe 3 pounds since the 20 week checkup.
The nurse said my weight gain was right on track and not to worry about it, but for some reason it's a lot harder than I expected it to be mentally.
I am up 13.6 lbs, and I am 22w 4d. I actually had an appointment with a MW today and she gave me a lot of grief about it, which really upset me because at my appointment 5 weeks ago, a different MW told me that 10-13 lbs was normal for where I was then (18 weeks) when I asked about my (then) 10-lb gain. This MW actually told me to 'lay off the sweets', even though she knows nothing about my eating habits.
Without the biitchy midwife, I wouldn't be upset about the gain, but now I'm paranoid.
Yikes, how rude of her!! From what I've seen and read you are perfectly on track right now with your gain

According to my scale at home today I'm up 8 lbs at almost 21 weeks. My last appointment 2 weeks ago I was only up 6 lbs. I'm having a hard time with the weight gain this time. After gaining almost 60 lbs with DS, I cringe everytime I see the number on the scale go up. I know I'm at a healthy weight gain right now, so I'm just trying to keep it that way.
I have no benchmark for gaining since my last pregnancy was twins. With them I gained 47 total in 38.5 weeks. I'm a little anxious over the amount since I just assumed I would gain half as much with one baby.
But I lost all of my baby weight the last time in less than 4 months. So I'm trying not to stress too much. It will come off again.
Down 7 lbs still, but Dr. is not concerned with the loss. Being overweight, it would be nice if this pregnancy ended up with me healthier in the end too.
