i've been using blue lizard per my pedi's suggestion, but when DS sweats it burns his eyes. i've read a few good things about badger unscented--but it sounds like it leaves them looking suuuper white and doesn't rub in.
what sunscreen do you use on LO? i'd prefer one without chemicals, etc
Re: what sunscreen do you use on LO?
We use the Blue Lizard Sensitive. Are you using regular or sensitive?
We used to use CA Baby, and still do sometimes. I also want to try Badger.
we've been using blue lizard 'baby' even though DS is 3...i figured that would be more sensitive, right? doesn't say 'sensitive' specifically on the bottle though i don't think

Yeah, sensitive is a different formulation, but I can't tell you how it's different--just that it's sold as different.
I think we have tried every natural sunscreen out there!
There are lots of them that are effective, but it's difficult to find one that rubs is relatively well b/c of the zinc oxide. My favorite by far is Think Baby sunscreen. The consistency is much better than all of the others I've tried.
I love the MD Moms sunblock wipes. They're not cheap, but they work great for us.

The neutrogena face stick for faces b/c we had the same problem w/ liquidy sunscreen getting in the eyes. We use the coppertone pure & simple for their bodies.
The EWG rating for the neutrogena stick is a 3 and the coppertone is a 2, which is comparable to the blue lizard although badger is a 1. I'm not really sure what the difference is between the badger & coppertone though, I haven't read much about it.
