Okay so I am stumped! I really want to get a baby carrier something that both DH and I can use, so slings and wraps are out as DH said those are too girly for him! So I have narrowed it down to the Beco Butterfly, Beco Gemini or Boba 3G and I just can't decide which one to get!!! Anyone else looking at these carriers, or used these carriers? So far all the reviews I have read on them have been great so that isn't helping my decision either!! Or if not which one are you going to get?
Re: Baby Carriers...what are you buying?
I got a baby K'Tan at my shower ( its like the Moby) then I am planning on buying the ergo.
Sorry not much help here just went on reviews and recs from family and friends who have kids.

I used the K'Tan and the Moby when DS was little.
Last time we had the Bjorn, hated it with a passion.
This time we'll use the Ergo (still deciding between the sport and the original) once the babe gets old enough to not need an insert.
We are using an Ergo.
I nannied for three years and used a Bjorn and Infantino carrier and really liked the Bjorn (HATED the infantino).
If the Ergo hadn't received such great reviews, we would have registered for a bjorn.

I'm sure a lot of it is just personal preference, but the Boba seemed like the best bet in terms of support and versatility (7-45lbs!).
I tried out a number of carriers with my DS. We started with the moby but he hated to be that confined and I hated all the wrapping. We then switched to bjorn that a friend gave us. We all loved that one because it was easy to put on and my DS could move more freely but he grew out of it pretty quickly. When he was around 1 I went to a local shop that carried Becos, Ergos, etc and let you try them on. Since I had my son with me they helped me get him in there too so I could really test it out. The Beco Butterfly was hands down the best choice. It was less complicated then the ergo, more comfortable and I liked the look of it better (I bought the Avery print one). My husband had no problem wearing it either and it has held up really well considering we used it for a good sized toddler for almost 18 months. I wish we had it from the beginning and I can't wait to use it out on our newborn.
