I was up 18lbs at my 21 week appointment and have probably put on another 3-5 since then. I think 2nd tri is proving to be my fast weight gain trimester as I only gained 3lbs during the entire 1st tri. Hopefully it slows down again in the 3rd tri.
im up six pounds at twenty three weeks and three days. first tri was rough on me. getting it back has been slow. i worry about how fast its going to start piling on, especially when i hit the third tri. yikes.
Still losing weight. I don't know what the deal is but I have a feeling I'll do all my gaining in 3rd tri.
I haven't lost any more weight but I haven't really gained. I made up for the 10lbs I lost during the first trimester but I haven't gained anything else. I don't understand cause I've been eating... a lot!!
My home scale says I am up 9 pounds. But the scale at the doctors is horribly off and always adds 5 more pounds. So we will see on Wednesday! I am just going to keep going by the numbers on my home scale since I have been using that from day 1.
I was up between 5 and 8 lbs (I'm not positive of my weight at my first appointment) at 19w4d. My doctor said my gaining is right on track, but he didn't mention what the actual amount was. Due to stress, I've been having trouble eating very much lately, so I'm worried I may put on more weight quickly if/when I'm able to eat normally again.
There are a few neat calculators on Babymed.com. Not sure how accurate they are, but something to play with.
https://babymed.com/tools/weight-change-calculator - with this one, I put in a 20w weight and it pretty much just doubled my gain at that point to calculate my total gain. I thought it was common to gain quicker toward the end, so I don't know how accurate this is.
I'm up about 25 lbs, which scared the crap out of me at first that I had gained so much in the first trimester! But I've been holding steady at about 179 lbs for the last few weeks (I'm 5'11" by the way) so hoping not to gain too much more until the baby really starts putting on weight at the end.
I started around 133 at 5'11", and at 20 weeks, I'm around 147. It's a little higher than what I would like, but since I started almost underweight, I'm not too worried. Plus, eating out a ton over our two week vacation didn't help either... Now that I'm back home, I'm on a strict, healthy diet!
Since right before getting pregnant, I'm up 14lb and am at 20wk. I didn't start out overweight or anything, so I'm not worried and neither is my OB. Actually I'm pretty much on the same track as with my 1st pregnancy. When I was pg with my son, I gained about 40lb total. I was lucky enough to return to pre-pg weight by about 5 months postpartum. Knock on wood that I have that same run of good luck this time around!

I am up 12 lbs at 20 wks. I am comfortable with that. I am only 5' tall so my OB wants me to stay around 25-30lbs total. I have days when I can control my eating with no problem and then I have days like yesterday when I just couldn't get full. I was starving all day so I ate. I pretty much let my body tell me when I need to eat.

This is me. I gained 40 lbs with my DS, lost all the weight by the time DS was 4 months. I'm hoping to gain only 35 lbs this time, but no matter how much excercise or how I eat....the weight keeps coming on...I cant slow it down :-(
I was up 9 lbs at 20 wks. I am kind of worried its not enough. My doctor says its his job to watch/worry about my wieght not mine. He will let me know if there is a concern or I need to change something.
I started at 5'10" and 170....so I was a good 10-15lbs over what I consider a healthy weight for me when I first got pregnant. My MW today said she was very happy with my weight gain to this point, but to remember that many gain the most weight between weeks 20-30 so I shouldn't get discouraged if I put on quite a few more pounds in the next two months.
I'm up 8 pounds and I'm 24 weeks. My OB told me at my last appointment that she expects me to gain about a pound a week from here on out, but she'd like to keep my overall weight gain to 20-25 pounds if possible since I'm petite. But like PP have said, it's all about your own body, now how you compare to someone else. Our bodies will do what has to be done in order to keep baby healthy and thriving.

I was up 8 lbs total at 21 weeks last week. My midwife doesn't care about weight gain and doesn't track it, but I'm happy with that.

Currently going through our second deployment. Can't wait for Zoe to meet her daddy!
I'm up 4lbs at 21 weeks.
I started 10lbs heavier with this pregnancy than with DD. I'm good with the way things are going so far and am trying to stay healthy for baby.

I am 5' 11" too. I think we will gain more.
I'm becoming increasingly anti worrying about weight.
it's about health not weight.
A malnourished body and unhappy mom is far worse than gaining too much. My MW is very anti the "25-35" lbs rule.

Me too. I guess I could go back and look it up, but that seems like it might take some work. And I'm pooped from this weekend.
