Took my temp for the first time to start charting today. 96.8!
From all my Google'ing (lol, that word), that seems like it's a hair under average.
I decided I'd see what you ladies thought based on your own experiences.
Other than that, have an awesome Monday morning ![]()

This was my first cycle ACTUALLY charting, and pre-O I was right around 97.0, with some temps around 96.8. Post O has been higher of course.
I woudn't worry about it though--seems to be in normal range...

Keep in mind that your "average" pre and post O temps are going to vary/depend on when your temping time is. Since your body temperature is falling or rising the whole time you sleep, this means that someone who, say temps at 2:00AM (like me) is going to have different "averages" than someone who temps at 6:AM
Also, there usually isn't a whole lot of meaning behind any single temp. As long as you see a temp shift (which I'm sure you will) then you're good.

BFP #2, 12/12/11, m/c 12/25/11
BFP #3, 3/09/12, CP 3/10/12
BFP #4, 7/22/12, DD#2 born 4/2013
This explains a lot, thank you ladies!
This also reminded me I have to wake up at 6 AM on weekends now too...*sigh* Sucks but like krisztina33 says, totally worth it
It's not so bad really, esp once you get use to it. I always temp while half asleep since I do it in the middle of the night (my DS still wakes up, plus I wake up to pee so the only time I can really count on 3 consecutive hours of sleep is at 2AM) and then I just recall it on the thermometer when I'm ready to wake up. Easy peasy.
