I feel kind of silly asking about it because it seems like such a minor thing. But I'm working on my registry and researching all sorts of things. A lot of the reviews I see on towels say things like they're not soft, they're not absorbent, they fall apart, etc.
Does anyone have towels they really like? Am I reading too much into this?
Thanks everyone

Re: XP: hooded towels
This is totally just my opinion, but a towel is towel : ) People "care" about the weirdest things sometimes!
this! i still use them though, i too like the hood! even though my LO is basically bald lol.
A towel isn't a towel to me! I'm really specific about my towels, mostly because I have super sensitive skin so I've shoved this on to my son, too. My favorite hooded towels are from the Children's Place. They're pretty much like small beach towels with hoods-- nice and thick, very soft. Grab them when they're on sale. I had a 20% coupon and they had them 50% off so I got each one for like $8. They were well worth the money and big enough that they'll last awhile before he's too big to use them.
I hate all the ones that I got that came several to a pack. Like someone else said, they're impossibly thin. You almost need to use all three at one time to achieve normal absorbancy.
We got this 3 pack of circo brand towels from target and they are awful, they are super thin and not absorbent at all. We use them as burp cloths sometimes but not as towels. The Carter's ones with the animals on the hoods are the best!
