Really, dh?

Last night he suggested using formula at night to get J to sleep longer because that is what his cousin did. Uuugh. While I think EBF vs ff is a personal decision that is different for each family, I think that is the wrong reason to introduce it, especially when J is giving us 5-7 hour stretches. He said I should ask our pedi about it and when I told him no he got all butt hurt. Little does he know that if we do end up supplementing with formula, he will be the one putting DS down for bed because he stays up later than I do.

5-7 hours sounds heavenly right now. I agree that wanting LO to sleep longer is a balls reason to introduce formula.

  • How much longer does he want him to sleep? 5-7 hours for a 2 month old is amazing. Tell him to cool his jets.
i wish i could be joking but my dad is the music teacher at a church so he owuld be mad. we had sex, all the time how bad i know but we dont want to wait and he said GREAT OH KAY! and I was really feeling the wets? down there- too embarsed to say- but he acted like man.
  • I agree with PP about your H managing his expectations. 5-7 hours at a time is amazing. Let him know that many FF babies are still up every 3 hours. My son very often gets formula overnight and doesn't sleep for 5 hours at a stretch.

  • My ff baby just started giving us 5/6 hour stretches this past week. So your ebf is doing awesome if you are getting 5-7!
