Pain after 3 months??

OK ladies, have any of you experienced something like this? DS is 3.5 months old and yet I will still sometimes get intense burning/pain in my lower abdomen if I'm laying down and roll over or sit up. It does this less frequently than it did when I was healing and doesn't bother me at all during the day. Only while laying down. Is this normal?

Re: Pain after 3 months??

  • Very normal. I had this all the time when I would get out of bed. It has finally stopped in the past few months.

  • Normal. My SIL had her c/s over 2 years ago, and said she still ocassionally feels some tugs/pain, and definitely numbness. Mine is still itchy as hell, and I've had some pain recently, but I'm pregnant, so I think that has a lot to do with it.

  • Im over four months out and still sometimes have pain when I move wrong or sit up fast. I would say that it is normal as long as its becoming less frequent. I hope it gets better soon.

  • Yep...Normal.

The funny thing with me is I didn't really experience the burning pain until about 3 months. DS is 5.5 months and I don't really have it anymore. I do have 2 stretch marks really low that are still super sensitive though. I guess that part of our body takes it's sweet time healing all the way???

  • LO is 3months and I definitely still feel pain when I am laying down as well. My skin is still very sensitive...and majority of my clothing irritate inicison and stretch marks.  I still feel a little sore, and if I am doing to much acitivity it starts to hurt as well.  People tell me it takes a long to feel completely normal again, but I am sure that depends on each individual person.

I still have a little pop belly...I look like how I did when I was 3-4months pregnant...so that doesn't help much either Sad
