This particular cramp is starting up top and radiating down into my stomach and across my sides, and up into my sternum. Been about five minutes, not letting up. Normal? It isn't horribly painful, but it certainly is NOT comfortable. I went to the bathroom (hasn't been a problem doing so needless to say the past few days, been pretty loose), but the cramp is still there, so I'm assuming it isn't bowel related. I'm almost 38 weeks. Any insight?

Re: I know the cramps are normal but...
Still hasn't let up. Not sure what the deal is.
Gonna do the usual "Drink water and lay on left side" recommendation lol
It could be gas pain. I've gotten HORRIBLE gas pain on and off througout both pregnancies. Tightness/cramp that just won't let up for hours sometimes. I end up having to take Gas-EX a few times before it will go away.
I would get on my chest and knees on the couch with a pillow pushed into the top of my belly and that was really the only thing that helped at all.
With DS, I actually got this pain the night before my water broke too. No clue if they are related or not.
Laying on side for about an hour (okay so I took a nap) it went away.
Labor is never going to come! LOL!
