Hair Pulling

DD is 8 months and has been pulling her hair for the last couple of weeks. Does anybody else have a LO that does this? 

She has been losing hair since birth and has these weird patches of hair. Poor girl looks like she is balding like a 60yr old man.

    My DS#2 does it and I think DS#1 did it as well.  I notice it a lot more when he is tired. He doesn't pull it out though.

    DS will do this sometimes. It drives me crazy b/c it looks like it hurts! He mostly does it when he's frustrated or tired. I haven't figured out a way to make him stop, so I can't help there : (

    DD does this. She pulls everyone's hair not just her own but if no one else is available she will pull her own lol. She doesn't usually pull it out but she has before. I have no idea what (if anything) to do about it though.

    DD pulls her hair all the time. Glad she's not alone..

    D doesn't do that specifically, but he does pull on hair in general.  His hair is also coming in patchy.  Strange. Does she do it more when she's tired?  D sometimes hits himself in the head when he's tired.

    She doesn't do it when she is tired. It is just when she is grabby. After naps, during feedings, playing with toys, etc. It is just one more thing for her to grab.

    I'm wondering if there is something I should do to discourage this or just let it be.
