Olive oil for cradle cap - how to apply?

I saw some previous posts about olive oil helping cradle cap.  Thankfully LO only has a small patch in her eyebrows and a little by her hairline on her forehead.  How do you apply the olive oil?  Do you use your finger or perhaps a cotton ball?  Also do you just leave it on or do you wipe it off at some point?  If you wipe it off after how long on do you wipe?  How many times a day do you put it on?  Any info is much appreciated.

    Put it on with your finger.  I would be very very careful around the eyes though.  Once it's on, let it sit for a while to soak in.  Then you can use a baby brush or toothbrush to massage it.  The cradle cap should scrub off when you do this.  Then you can wash it off.
