I have an Indie twin and really like it. I always thought the BJCS looked cool, but heard it was like pushing a bus. It looks really long in person & I've seen kids in the front seat with their feet practically dragging on the ground.
Indie compared to the BJCS-- pros: much easier to push & maneuver even fully loaded. Will handle grass, gravel, etc. much better because it has air tires & suspension. You won't have to worry how to configure the seats because there's only one option and the kids won't ever fight over who sits where. . 2011 models come with a universal carseat adapter bar that fits Gracos, Britaxes & some others. A Chicco adapter is optional. The 2012s no longer come with the universal, you have to buy it separately.
Cons: The only 2 carseats the Indie will take simultaneously are Maxi-Cosi's.No reversible seats or different configurations. 3-4 inches wider than the Select. Same weight as the Select in doubles mode - 34 lbs. No ability to use it as a single stroller. Bulky & awkward fold.
I wanted an all-terrain double for walks & outdoors since I live in a rural area & have bumpy sidewalks. Why I chose the Indie over others: I wanted it to be less than 30" wide so it would fit through my doors-- which ruled out BOB, Baby Jogger Elite & Summit doubles. I wanted upright seats- ditto for the above 3. I wanted real air tires & suspension, which ruled out the Baby Jogger city mini GT. And I didn't want it too be too big & unwieldy, which ruled out Mountain Buggy & Valcos. Indie was also the only one that had adjustable footrests, huge canopies, and individual bumper bars so I could use one for my youngest but not get in the way of my toddler hopping in & out.
I also have a Vista with rumbleseat as my indoor stroller. Love, love, love it as a single, not so much as a double. I would definitely go with the B-ready as a single-to-double stroller over the Vista or Select.

Thanks! This is super helpful! I have the Vista too and love it but have never used it as a double and dont really plan to. Do the kids sit as upright in the Bumbleride as the Vista? That is a major issue for me cause my LO loves sitting uoright so he can see everything. Also, is the seat as high off the ground as the Vista? Thanks again for the insights!!
Oh I wanted this stroller so.so.so very bad. I mean really bad :-) However, after thinking about it for several months and test driving it in the store several times (and speaking to any mom I've seen with one out in public), I have decided to go with the City Mini Double GT. If money didn't matter, I'd get the GT for my car and the Bumbleride for home for walks in the neighborhood, but we can only afford one $600-700 stroller.
What I love about the bumbleride:
-the teal color is awesome! prettiest stroller I have ever seen, honestly
-the ride is smooth, very very smooth. it pushes like a dream
-the seats are very padded and wide
-the canopy covers the seats nicely
-the basket under the stroller is large, and you access it from the back or the front (just flip up the leg rests on either side or both sides of the stroller)
What I don't like about the bumbleride:
-the fold is really difficult for me, perhaps because I'm pretty short. I have practiced it multiple times with help from the associates at the store and it just feels awkward. I think it might be my height combined with the weight of the stroller
-the stroller is heavy to pick up. Even though the GT is only a few pounds lighter than the bumbleride on paper, the GT has the handles on the seats you pick up to fold (super fast and easy) - then you can just hold the handles to carry / lift into your car. The bumbleride folds flat onto the ground, then it takes more muscle to pick it up off the ground (whereas the GT never has to go on the ground). Anyway, it was just so heavy for me. I frequently take a stroller in / out of a car several times in a row for shopping so this was important.
-the stroller folded is HUGE. I mean I really wanted this stroller and REALLY wanted it to work - so it took me swallowing a little pride to admit to my husband he was right that it was just HUGE. The measurements online compared to the GT folded are only a few inches different - I promise you in person, it is a huge difference between the size folded. It was just too large for our CRV trunk to be functional to take it to the beach (we shop a lot there and that is important to us to be able to take it on the road)
What I like about the City Mini double GT:
-the handle is adjustable, so it is very comfy for my husband (regular height) and myself (short)
-the seats are padded. I didn't like the regular double City Mini b/c the seats weren't all that comfy compared to the bumbleride. The seats seemed flimsy and thin and "swayed" as the stroller was pushed. However the GT (upgraded model) has much thicker seat padding and the seats to sway as it is pushed. Love it.
-The fold is amazing. So easy, it's effortless. Then you can stand the stroller upright (rather than it laying flat on the ground) which I like in case it is raining (it wont get dirty on the ground)
That's my assessment, and believe me, I've spent some time w/ these strollers. The people at Buy Buy Baby here know me and probably think I'm crazy b/c I've gone so many times to push the strollers and fold them and just couldn't decide. But now that I found the GT I feel good about letting the Bumbleride dream go :-)
