For right now, I'm voting extreme tom-boy. Maybe she hero worships her older brother a little much? But I give mad props to A & B for not trying to force her to conform. Yeah, they are generally weird but this part is cool LOL
I find Shiloh to be fascinating right now (I'm not online stalking her or anything). I think it'll be pretty interesting to watch her grow up and evolve.
Originally I was in the Tom-Boy who idolizes her brothers camp, but I'm wavering.
And before the flames get thrown (which I expect), I fully realize a 5 year old child is not a sexual being.
What really fascinates me is the long-term commitment she's had as a child with her "look." It's either ingrained in her DNA or fabricated (as others have suspected)

No flames from me. There are those that have said they knew they were not heterosexual as young as 5. But it'll be interesting to see how her style evolves. Because I would totally dress my son in some of the stuff she wears lol
ETA: I don't think it's fabricated because the other kids have worn some off the wall stuff as every day wear. I think they let her pick out her own clothes when they shop and she just owns the boy stuff. It is interesting to watch though. Did they dress her in dresses and such when she was a baby? I can't remember.
I'm not sure if I'll render a verdict on the lesbian thing.
I'm pretty sure she's not manufactured by B&A. Shiloh has 2 older brothers (yes I know she has an older sister too) but sometimes boy stuff is just more fun.
It honestly looks like their kids have the most say in their clothes.

IMO in this outfit and haircut she looks like a boy.
Whether that's a big deal or not is a personal opinion, I don't think that makes her a lesbian or even necessarily have any gender identity issues. I think she's still a bit young to be labeled in that way.
I went through a stage where I wore hugely baggy 'skater/grung' clothes, and most were from the boy section. I never thought I wanted to be a boy nor am I attracted to women. So I guess from my point of view it doesn't mean much.
But I do find the transition of her from baby to child and the clothing choices interesting. It's hard to say whether they merely encourage her or what but I'm guessing it's not forced. Not all parents would let their child dress in a manner that's not culturally appropriate, I give kudos to them for allowing her to express herself even if that means she's looked at differently.
I do know that I have a gay friend and he swears he knew he was gay since he was 4 years old.
Who knows.
I know little boys who dressed up in their Moms heels and pearls and wore lipstick and they are definitely heterosexual, married men with children now. So, I'm sure it could go either way at this point.

Now, THAT is interesting because I couldn't remember.
Boy clothes as a newborn
I wonder about her too - here's a pic from when she was much younger and her outfit looks quite feminine.

Hmmmm...this has my wheels turning.
