Any movie theaters for babies?

Has anyone heard of any movie theaters that do movie showings specifically for mom's and kids? (you know, so you're not disturbing other people in the theater, since all the moms are basically in the same boat?). I've heard about this in other places, but not in the Tampa area...I'm starting to go a bit stir-crazy over here!

Re: Any movie theaters for babies?

  • I haven't heard of any in the Tampa area... I wish there was though! I'm a big movie buff so when I want to see a movie we wait until its showing at the Drive in theater so we can sit in the car or in law chairs... I have an SUV so we normally open the back door and sit in there so i can nurse privately.

  • Someone mentioned on another post about going to matinees, since there are usually less people there and the sound is not as loud.  My husband and I want to see the new Snow White Huntsmen movie.!!

  • Thanks for the suggestions! We actually did think about going to a drive-in, since it seems like the best option, but I also like the idea of a matinee...I'm sure if I went to the earliest possible show on a weekday, there wouldn't be very many people there? There are so many movies out right now that I wish I could see! :)
