Combi twin Sport stroller?

Does anyone have this stroller? If so, comments?

It looks to be the cheaper equivalent to the city mini double but a touch smaller w cup holders included.

**Im just popping over bc I was sure this group would be the group to ask! My children just turned 1 and 2 and my tandem stroller is awful!  TIA!

Re: Combi twin Sport stroller?

  • I have it and totally love it. It is light, fits through all doors and folds up easily. I also love the 3 cup/snack holders for them on the tray.  It has decent storage underneath. The only minor downside is the umbrella tops do not cover much of the sun glare on really hot/sunny days.

    Great stroller, good luck :)

  • I bought it but haven't used it yet, but it was the most reasonable/best double stroller I found. I tried a bunch out at different stores and practiced walking with them and folding them all up.

I am using the Baby Trend snap n go double frame stroller right now, which is amazingly light and easy to use, I love it for now while they're in their car seats for everything.

This!  It's been my only stroller for the last year + and I use it every day.  I love how lightweight it is - even pregnant, I have no issues lifting it in and out of the car.

  • I have a couple different strollers, but I use this one if I'm only going to have the twins, or when I have to run in to pick up DD1 at preschool. It's so light and easy. It folds up easy and fits through doorways without a problem. The price is decent too.

The negatives for me are the storage underneath is hard to get to. The adult cup holders are made out of fabric, so they're not very sturdy and don't really hold a large cup. Also, the children's cup holders are so shallow, the sippy cups topple out everytime you hit a little bump. I don't know why they didn't make them deeper. I just bought a plastic cup holder to clip on the handle for me and those sippy cup straps for the twins' sippys. We use the cup holders by the babies for snacks.

All in all, a great little stroller that I would recommend (it seems like they all have some negatives). I see this stroller mentioned on here a lot, so I think other people like it as well.

  • I have this stroller, and also the city mini double.  I love them both, for different reasons.  I keep the Combi in my car and use it for quick trips in/out of stores or similar excursions.  It folds up small and easily, is light and easy to maneuver, and fits through standard doors/aisles at stores pretty well for the most part.  I like that it stands up on its own when folded, and my kids like having the little cup holders and belly bar (they rest their feet on it).  As PP said, the cup holders can't really hold sippy cups - too shallow - so we just use them for snacks.  They're perfect for that.  The sun shades are pretty useless, but the basket is decent.  Overall, it's a great stroller, especially for the price.

We keep the city mini at home most of the time and use it for walks in the neighborhood, or longer outings where they'll be in the stroller for a while.  And the nanny uses it when she takes the kids out and about during the week.  It's sturdier, and steers better than the combi, and is just a better quality stroller.  The sunshades are fantastic, but the basket is pretty useless, and it's annoying that you need to pay extras for the belly bar, snacktrays, etc.

  • Great to keep it in the car for quick trips, folds easy, lightweight and overall two thumbs up. I agree with pp about the smallish storage and shallow cup holders- but still a great stroller for the money.

I have it but I don't love it. I have a slightly older version that doesn't have the cupholders but, they look to be kind of useless. My twins are a combined 54 lbs and steering the Combi is not easy at all.

My babies love that they are right next to each other (there's no divider between the seats) and can get in each other's business but the seats are narrow, especially compared to the seats in the City Select. Mine are used to being able to have their snack cup and sippy cup right next to them in the stroller and there's just no room in the Combi.

I only paid $80 for mine at a MoM sale so it wasn't a huge investment, and I only use it for quickie trips but, if it were going to be my main SBS stroller, I'd pony up for the City Mini. I have 2 other Baby Jogger strollers (BJCS and a City Series all terrain) and there is just no comparison in terms of quality.

  • I have it and liked it OK at first, but as the twins grew, they learned how to unbuckle it (at about age 18 months) and would hop out randomly.

Then there's the basket under- it's hard to get to as others said, and the cups always fall out of the cup holders.

  • I have it but not used it yet.  But I found with my research and the ladies here that it was the best option for me.
