Feeling a little jealous

I am feeling a little left out today. I have 2 SIL in the hospital right now! One had a baby girl this morning and still waiting on the other one (who is one of my very best friends) to have hers. While I am happy for them, I can't help but feel jealous and left out.... 11 weeks+ seems so far away right now. I sure hope it's ok to feel a little blue. I'm am beyond ready to meet my little one.

Just think, when you get to have your little squishy infant, their babies will be a great big 11 weeks old! You might be sad to be behind now, but they'll totally be jealous that your LO is still smaller/younger because they really do change/grow sooo fast!!

With my last pregnancy whenever someone I knew went in to have their baby I turned into the little green monster for a day lol. When a good friend of mine (due the same day as me) went into labor on our due date I cried for most of the day, I was so jealous and so ready to be done. Then on day 2 of my induction, our dog had puppies... I don't think I've ever been so angry about puppies in all of my life hahaha! All I could think about was that even the dog beat me. This time isn't as bad since I don't feel as ready with this pregnancy as with my last.

Even the dog was conspiring against you! I can totally understand this feeling though - my cousin just had a baby and I wish it was me...8 more weeks!

As someone at very high risk for delivering prematurely, be glad your LO will cook as long as possible and that you will carry to full term.

I already have been feeling jealous that most of the mommies on this board are further along than me (my EDD is August 31)! So when all of you start posting your birth stories and baby pictures I'm gonna be DYING!!!!

Yep, totally normal. And ditto just wait until your LO is here...all the attention will be on you and your baby (and they maybe the jealous ones).
