I have to admit though, you are right. I have gone back through and read the things myself and others have said and it is quite funny. I have been tempted to keep it going after the one post just because it is like the most popular thread. I am not even mad anymore, I find this whole thing hilarious. It sounds sick, I know, but it is funny. So far, I have read back and everyone is very knowledgeable. They know a lot more about conceiving with trouble than I do. I am learning a lot just reading what others have had to go through and I do see now what everyone meant about being selfish in those messages. I didn't mean to hurt anyone so I do sincerely apolgoize if I hurt anyone's feelings. I see what you mean now and won't mention anymore about the calendars.

LOL no you aren't getting Punk'd although that would be a great idea for a show. In between messages I went back and took everyone's advise. I read the newbie forum and also read some old messages. I totally see what everyone means about the "advice". From what I am reading, the women on here have much more extensive methods for getting pregnant. I am lucky the calendars have worked for me in the past. It is amazing the amount of knowledge everyone on here knows about having a baby. I had no idea that much went into it. Truly amazing. You would think I would know a lot more since I have endometriosis but it has never seemed to be this complicated until now. Wow, salutes to you guys.

1. It wouldn't be slander, it'd be libel. Libel is written, slander is spoken. This is a message board, so it is clearly WRITTEN. The broader category of these type of statements is called "defamation of character." Google it - it's 1st year law school torts.

2. Defamation is not defined as "any statement that hurts your poor little feelings." Defamation of character requires a statement that injures someone's character in some measurable, real way. American law is very specific that hurt feelings and insults are not to be the basis for defamation lawsuits - that's just stupid. Oh and by the way...truth is a defense to slander as well as libel. Unfortunately for you, looks like you would lose that lawsuit.

3. Thanks for showing us something else you don't know anything about: the law.

ETA: 4. Defamation is not "illegal" (the better term is unlawful since illegal is unclear). It is something you can sue someone civilly for if you are injured. That does not make it unlawful.

5. You are an idiot...go away.

Considering I'm married to an lawyer who specialized in litigation and graduated first in class from law school, I welcome your crazy ass trying to do anything about any of this. Not to mention my FIL is a law professor with 35+ years of legal experience and a law degree from Harvard...bring it on ***.
