When Does Your Temp Drop?

For those of you who have been charting, at what DPO/point in your cycle does your temp usually drop? This is my first time charting, so I'm watching my temps like a hawk, and I found myself wondering about this.

I am really no help at all since mine has dropped after AF started during one month and then a day before AF this month. Sorry.

Out of 5 cycles temping, my 1st cycle it dropped the day before and the other 4 it dropped the day of my period. It sucks seeing that drop before I even get out of bed to start my day, but I can do that better than a BFN.

First, I love your Doctor gifs! I only started charting last month, so I don't have much data to work with. My temps dropped at 9dpo last cycle, but stayed just above coverline until 13dpo. There was a bigger drop at 13 epoch an AF showed up the same day.

My period usually starts before my temps go back below coverline. They usually drop lower in the few days before my period, but not all the way back down.

On the cycles where I've temped all the way through my LP, my temp hasn't generally dropped until a day or two after AF shows up.

Mine varies occasionally, but it usually drops either the day I get my period or the day before.

My temp starts to drop at about 13dpo (I have a 16 day LP). It doesn't go below the coverline until AF, but it definitely starts declining rapidly at 13dpo.

My post ovulation temps are always above 98.0. So usually my temp drops from somewhere around 98.4 to somewhere around 97.5. It is a big and noticeable drop, especially since my pre-ovulation temps are almost never above 98.0

Most of the time I don't mind it, since it's a good signal to get a tampon before things get messy.(sorry, TMI). I don't have to worry about being "surprised" by my period in the middle of the day or at an inopportune moment.
