We are going on vacation the end of the month, and I'm worried about what to eat. I'm told to avoid dairy and soy, so what should I do when I have to go out and eat?
I havent' have dairy in a month, and soy in 10 days. My daughter has been much less gassy since I stopped eating dairy, but nothing else has changed. Some days her skin looks better or her stool looks better, but other days, like today, her stool was very mucousy, and she cried and cried for 45 minutes before pushing it out...
TIA!

This. Research what is safe aroumd there in advance too.
Thank you for your replies.
I heard even a tiny amount is not okay. Is that true? Like at a restaurant, if someone uses a utensil that handled cheese on my plate, that's contaminated???

That really depends on your DC. It's not an allergy and additional exposure is not going to make the next reaction worse, like it could with peanuts or things like that. But, it could make for a really unpleasant vacation.
I've never had a problem with cross contamination with plates and silverware. More like items being cooked on the same surface as something that contained dairy (e.g. my eggs made with oil, but cooked on a griddle that just had butter on it).
