Colace

I can't remember what my doctor said about colace.  Is it safe to take, and everyday?

    yep! on my safe list.  Also, if you really can't go, take pericolace.

    Yes, it's safe. My OB just "prescribed" it for me in combination with the iron she's having me take for anemia.

    ETA: And she said to take it every day.

    Yes, it's safe to take. I think you can do 2x a day if needed.

    Colace is fine. Pericolace is not. If your ob says fine, then go ahead. It's on the list of no-no's I give my patients.

    I believe she said in a previous post today or yesterday that she is an OB.
