Ditto 1/4 c, but I add mine in the dispenser. If you don't have a dispenser, fill your washer and add the bleach, then agitate, and THEN add your diapers.
What is your routine for stripping and bleaching at the same time? Do you add the dawn and bleach at the same time? I guess it can't hurt to strip the diapers as well as bleach at this point. I want to do everything possible to prevent his rash from reoccurring.
secondaryPULSE:
Also, regarding rinses--I rinse 'til I smell no more bleach (I'm thinking it's about 3-4 rinses? Not sure--I always strip and bleach at the same time, and I'm rinsing a bunch to get the suds out from the dawn).

I use 1/4 cup.
I fill machine, add bleach, let agitate for a minute then toss clean diapers in. I usually just do it after a normal cycle.
I do have a bleach dispenser but it doesn't seem to work all that well for me.
