My husband and I have been thinking about what our next step should be. I have done 2 IVF cycles at 2 different clinics. We moved to SIRM to get some immune testing done to rule that out (since I have had 9 early losses). Nothing showed up in the immune testing, so there is no real answer as to why I keep miscarrying and we look great on paper.
We decided that before we make the final decision to move on to a gestational carrier, we should probably see the best of the best. Travel and cost aside, in all of your research and in your opinion, which clinic would be better, CCRM or Cornell? I trust your opinions! Thanks.
After 1 IUI, 3 IVF's with CGH/CCS testing, 10 early miscarriages, and lots of tears and frustration, we are moving on to Domestic Infant Adoption! We are so excited to see what the future holds.
Re: XP: CCRM or Cornell- From IFV
Your profile shows you are in New Jersey. If that's the case, I would definitely go to Cornell. My babies are from my successful cycle there. I went to a different doctor for my four failed ivf cycles. The first one at Cornell worked.
I saw Dr. Span.dorfer and loved him!
IVF #1-4=BFN IVF #5=BFP! U/S on 5/3 revealed TWINS!
Oh my gosh - your story sounds like mine.
I did three unsuccessful cycles in NJ - my RE there told me I needed to move on to DE. I cried and cried for days but wanted another opinion.
I saw Dr. Ch.ung at Cornell and loved him. My first cycle there was a c/p but my second cycle we produced 4 beautiful embies. 2 became the twins, and 1 is currently in my ute.
Best of luck to you! Feel free to page me if you need any specifics.

Honestly - I don't know that you can go wrong w/ either. They are both top notch facilities. I think location is really the deciding factor.
I too went to Cornell for my 5th and last IVF. I went to Dr. Rosenwaks (who I think I saw all of 2 times! Saw all the other docs instead). I now have DS because of them.
I was able to stay w/ family in NYC and DH was able to come up for a big chunk of my time up there - having a support network really makes a HUGE difference too, I think.
