I thought my body was getting back to normal, but I guess not.

in TTC After a Loss

According to FF and my symptoms, I o'd a few weeks ago and had what I thought was my first "real" period. It was heavy, medium, light, and then some spotting yesterday. And then a tiny tiny bit of spotting this morning. Great, right? Well now I started bleeding again, bright red. WTF? I am so, so upset. I just feel so defeated. I can't take any more of this.  :-(

TTC #1 since Sept 2011
BFP#1 1/31/12. Empty sac discovered 3/5/12. MTX due to location in uterine horn.
BFP#2 2/27/13. Empty sac confirmed 3/20/13. Mifepristone + cytotec.
Currently TTA until Fall 2013, waiting for operative hysteroscopy

    No such thing as normal after a MC..

    Don't you just wish your body would listen to you?  My doctor said that AF after a m/c is basically a new normal and that it can be not what you expect for a while. Hopefully she starts behaving soon.

    (HUGS) I agree with PP, no normal periods after mc. My flows are different each period now, I never know what Im gonna get. I had a crappy day too, but nttcalr. Hope your day gets better, it IS friday! =)

    That's how all of my AF's worked prior to my m/c. Just when I thought it was done BAM it would show up in full force again. I'm sorry you're dealing with this. Hopefulyl things will get better for you soon. ((hugs))

    Im sorry you are going through this , I know how frustrating it can be. Know that your not alone that most of us are or have gone through the exact same thing. Mine have been so screwed up since January. Im still waiting for a "normal" cycle!

    I'm so sorry, Mrs. E. :-( Maybe you're just having an extra long period this time? It just adds insult to injury that after miscarrying it takes so long to get back to "normal" physically again.

    BFP1: DD1 born April 2011 at 34w1d via unplanned c/s due to HELLP, DVT 1 week PP
    BFP2: 3/18/12, blighted ovum, natural m/c @ 7w4d
    BFP3: DD2 born Feb 2013 at 38w4d via unplanned RCS due to uterine dehiscence

    Thanks. It really helps to feel like I'm not alone. Today I'm only spotting again, so we'll see what happens tonight. I just can't believe it's been almost 3 months, and nothing is normal, I still haven't even had a negative beta. But my next one is this week (it was 12 4 wks ago), so I'm reeeeally hoping it's 0 this week. And if my period can stop too, that would be great!
