cute DH last night

i'm not one to gush rainbows and kittens about DH (he's a sweetie but that's besides the point). Big burly, bearded teddy bear. he's only hands on with her like once a week or so, knowing that i get tons of bonding time with her but he'll get his time after she comes.

last night we were cuddling in bed when baby stated going nuts. DH puts his hand on my belly and we get to talking a bit while she's doing aerobics and then we got quiet to enjoy the moment. about 10 minutes in, he starts breathing heavier and i wish i'd had a camera or something. Its so cute to see DH falling asleep with a hand on our daughter.

maybe its just me, but i thought it was super cute

Its not just you-that is super cute and sweet. DH and I cuddle in bed at night and he always puts his hand on my belly to feel LO move. I love when he pays attention to LO like that as well!

i love it when he does this! it doesn't happen often. I kinda wish he'd do it more, but i know its not really his style. he doesn't get the same glowy feeling i do when it comes to her moving, but i'm guessing that's just a guy thing.

Like you I'm not all gushy, but I love when DH holds and sings lullaby's to LO right before we doze off... If he continues, LO will get use to it and guess who's putting LO down to bed when he arrives??! LOL.. you got it! So I encourage it! It's a win-win situation.

DH is still a little weirded out by the baby movements--and it's our third baby! But I love it when my little boys get the chance to feel him move--and they love it too!
