Hair loss...

This has probably been posted before, but I don't get on the nest very often anymore (oh wait - the BUMP).

How long did your post-partum hair loss last and how much did you lose?  My mom was diagnosed with a thyroid problem after she had my oldest sister, so I want to see what is "normal" (yes, I know that not everyone is normal, and if it lasts too long, I will talk to my doctor), to make sure that it is not a thyroid issue.
