    We'll do real trees until we have a crawling baby (so this'll probably be the last year for a while!).  I don't want the little one picking up stray needles, eating them, crawling on them etc., but I love the look and smell of real!

    I prefer real trees but they are way too much of a hassle and expensive. ?I plan on buying a fake one for next year since it will be Jonah's first x-mas. ?

    My grandmother gave me a 18 inch tall fake tree when I was a kid.  I still have it, and it is pretty much our only Christmas decoration.  I have no idea where we would put a full-size tree, real or artificial.
