2 centimeters dialated!!

I was scheduled to be induced on June 7th, but I found out today I am 2 centimeters dialated!! Very nervous and excited at the same time. My family keeps calling me every 10 minutes asking me if I'm hurting yet. I really hope it pushes along because I'm ready. Some women have reported slow dialation, others have moved along quickly. How was it for you?

congrats!

I went from 1cm to 10cm in a few hours with my 2nd baby...however to be realistic I have been 2 cm for over 2 weeks with this baby (#3)

try and stay busy and not stress....labor will happen soon....maybe not as soon as we want but you are close

With DS#1 I was dialated 5 centimeters for a week! It was the longest week of my life.

I've been 2cm (and between 60 and 70% effaced) for a couple weeks now

- up from the 1cm I was at my first internal. My doc stripped my membranes for the 2nd time today, so hopefully that will help move me along.

At my 37wk appt with ds I was 2cm and remained that way for 2more weeks until I went into active labor at 39wks 3days. Went to the doc today and I'm only 1cm at 38 weeks. I've been walking and having sex. Hoping to make a little progress by next weeks appt. Good thing is your body is getting ready, keep busy!

I was 2cm at 37 weeks, 3cm at 38 & 39 weeks. I didn't go into labor until 40w1d.

Once I got to the hospital I was 4-5cm dilated and it still took another 13+hours to get to 10cm.

I was 2 cm and 80% effaced at 39 weeks.. at my 40 week appt... no change. Im now at 40w 5 days....next appt is this friday for the stress test... every body and baby is different. You never know!
