How to Tell My Husband

Hey Everyone!

Think this is my first post :D. I just found out today that I am pregnant and my husband is out of town until next Friday.  I want to tell him in person.  He flies into the local airport about 9:30pm. I was wondering if anyone had any cute, creative ways to tell him?

    I wish I had done something cute and creative. I was scared to tell my boyfriend, since this happened because of birth control failure. I wasn't sure how he would react, though it was mostly unfounded paranoia, and I put off telling him for 2 weeks! I actually avoided him a little and by the time I finally told him I'm pretty sure he thought I was going to break up with him. I told him we had something serious to talk about and he was all morose and I just blurted out "I'm pregnant." He was thrilled, but people here do such cute things to tell their partners about their pregnancy.

    I saw on a sitcom years ago (lame yes, but it was cute) and she made him a dinner with everything "baby"...baby back ribs, baby carrots, baby corn, baby potatoes...

    then asked "how do you like your BABY back ribs?"  "And your BABY carrots?" Until he said "whats with the baby theme?"

    Ofc this would only work with a somewhat clever guy, or one that could actually focus when there are rubs on his plate...lol

    Thanks girls! :) I LOVE that idea lol and always envisioned doing it similar to that but his flight doesn't get in until almost 10pm that night and I want to tell him then and well I don't think a full course dinner would work haha :) 

    So far the best thing I have is making a shirt to say Knocked Up By Mike (DH) or something silly and then showing up with baby themed balloons and waiting by the gate or baggage claim so he'll get it as soon as I see him...

    You could wake him a welcome home sign that says, "Welcome Home Daddy!"

    Get him a Onesie that says "I love My Daddy". Doesn't matter the color. But then he would get it right away.

    Maybe make a sign or a shirt that says his name on the front and "you're going to be a daddy" on the reverse.

    I got my husband a book that said on the front cover: DUDE your going to be a dad, really big and obnoxious. The pregnancy was a surprise for both of us and I wanted a fun way to tell him. So I wrapped it and when he opened it he thought it was practical joke. It was a lot of fun! Do whatever fits your relationship best.

    if you pick him up at the airport you could get a "baby on board" sign for your car.

    This is exactly what I did!  He loved it.

     

    Like this idea.  Maybe use light blues, pinks, and greens.  

    I work for a huge online shoe site and found the tiniest pair of green chucks at work.  Came home and presented them to the husband.  This time around, red chucks :]  I love them
