I just have a quick question. I've done DS's invite in Photoshop (I don't have illustrator, though that would have been the tool to use.
I noticed that the text (when I flatten and create a PDF) is a bit fuzzy. Is there a setting to make this a bit more crisp (I see the text options, right now it is set to "sharp", I could also do "crisp" or "smooth", but I'm not sure if this would entirely fix it). Resolution is 600, so I know that it shouldn't be an issue, it just seems like I shouldn't have this strange pixilation around the text (it is on a solid blue background).
My usual photoshop helpers are unavailable, so I'm hoping that maybe someone on here might know what I can tweek to get the crispness of the letters like they should be!
Re: Anyone with Photoshop/Illustrator Skills?
I use Illustrator all of the time, but not really much Photoshop besides editing pictures, so hopefully this helps.
First off, why are you flattening it? Are you saving as a PDF or printing to a PDF? And even if you have the resolution set to 600 in the Photoshop document, the PDF might not be set as that.
Do you have a shadow behind it?
Have you tried a test print? Sometimes when you make a PDF, it looks a little fuzzy, but when you actually print, its fine.
I see someone offered this already, but my husband says he'll look at the file if you want to send it to him. Let me know- I'll PM you his email
