Oh, I let him have EVERYTHING!

in Babies: 9 - 12 Months
DS just recently began eating table foods (shredded cheese, some crackers, cheerios...) and tonight I let him have everything! Turkey, green beans, mashed potatoes, stuffing, pumpkin pie and even a bite of apple pie with ice cream!! He did so good and made yum sounds the whole time! Big Smile

    I was going to let DD#2 have some stuff, but dinner started late (darn turkey!) and she couldn't wait, she needed a nap!  So I fed her some stage2/3  that I brought with and laid her down.  3 hours later (!) she joined us again Smile  Oh well, I still have to make the stuff I bought in case DS was still sick and we'd have to have dinner at home...she have some of that!

    we tried mashed potatoes with ds and he was a little less than thrilled with them.

    Awww, how sweet! DS tried mashed potatoes, homemade applesauce and a tiny bit of turkey. He didn't like any of it...none. The faces were hilarious though!

    I was shocked that he did love it, because he has not been a fan of anything we had given him before. Maybe he was just in a festive mood!!!

    My DS didn't like the mashed potatoes, but LOVED the stuffing! He couldn't get enough of it. He also seemed to like the turkey. I thought about letting him try pumpkin pie, but opted against it.?

    DS ate everything too! He had dressing, mashed potatos, sweet potato casserole, green beans, roll, and banana pudding. he loved all of it except the green beans, go figure!
