When I was using disposables I just had them stacked neatly in a wicker basket. That still works for my PFs but everything else is a mess (not to mention doesn't fit.) Fitteds are getting lost under AIOs, snappis are going MIA, and my wipes are stacked willynilly next to my wipe warmer.
How do you organize your stash and changing table?
Re: How do you organize your dipes?
From left to right on my changing table, top row:
large basket w/ prefolds folded in half
small basket with covers lined up
small basket with wipes folded in half
large basket with bG Aplix pockets rolled up and taped closed to save space
Bottom row:
medium basket with newborn inserts (I use these to double my prefolds during nap time)
medium basket with misc. - 2 fitted, extra wetbags, swim dipe
I hid the snappis because I never use them and DD kept finding them and chewing on them. Behind the medium baskets on the bottom are small prefolds and covers I'm not currently using. I find this system works really well for us.
Top of the changing table - pitcher containing water and a tiny bit of baby wash. Stack of wipes next to it. Snappis and diaper cream in a little basket. [and baskets of headbands and hats...]
Middle shelf - basket of covers, basket of doublers, basket of diapers (fitteds and prefolds). Liners are in front of the doubler basket. Stuffed BG's are between the farthest basket on the right and the side of the table.
Bottom shelf - chux from the hospital that I use as changing pads, extra pail liners & large wet bags.
Small wet bags hang on the corner of the changing table.
In an extra drawer in her dresser - covers that are too big/I'm just not using. NB stuff is in a tote in the basement.

We've been using drawers in DS's dresser. But as my stash has expanded this just isn't working. We don't even keep our prefolds in there because there is no room.
Now that we'll have 2 in cloth I bought this https://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3509991 in hopes that i can fold and sort by size and kid.
I use an antique dresser as a changing table. On top is the changing pad, a basket with a few CDs and wipes and next to the basket is some Bag Balm for when I notice some redness on LO's bum. I usually keep 3-5 diapers in the basket and restock when I take the last one.
The top drawers are small and hold odds and ends. The middle drawer holds prestuffed pockets, AIOs and wipes. The bottom drawer holds extra changing pad covers, pail liners, CD liners, extra inserts and burp cloths.
We just moved everything from the changing table to the closet because my daughter was pulling all of the diapers out and I was constantly reorganizing them every day.
Here's a video of what our organization system looks like now:
Thanks!
love is for every her, love is for every him, love is for everyone
On top of the changing table (we use an old sideboard/cabinet thing with shelves and sliding doors) - changing mat, basket with lotions, powder, TTO, coconut oil, snappis, headbands and a couple small toys for DD to play with when she's fidgety on the changing table, next to that a stack of cloth wipes plus a spray bottle filled with wipe solution.
On the left hand side, top & bottom shelves - pocket diapers (pre-stuffed) and AIOs, stacked and ready to go. Behind these I have extra inserts & doublers.
On the right hand side, top shelf - current size prefolds, stacked flat.
Right hand side, bottom shelf - night-time fitteds & OS covers.
Newborn prefolds and too small covers are stored away.
Diaper pail is right next to the changing table and the wetbags are usually either in the diaper bag, in the wash or hanging on the door knob.
I use one of those 3X3 cubes with bins in it. I'll try to see if I rememebr how to post a pic on here. The top 2 rows are "short" bins - i can see the dipes more easily and I dont have to pull them out to get what I want - the top row are all fitteds. the second row has one bin of fitteds and 2 bins of AI2s. The bottom are regular size bins that have daycare pockets and extra inserts/fitteds that dont ever get used.
The wool thats on top in this pic are actually stored on a shelf over the changing table - the prefolds that are on the floor are on a shelf inthe door of the dresser that we use as a changing table and the soakers are kept on top of the 3x3 cube along with a round basked that has NIP diapers in it (they aren't in the pic).
The bins here are flipped up only for this pic that was used as a stash shot several months ago for another group I am in.
