I gave DD one of these mesh feeders this weekend with banana in it:

She absolutely loved it. BUT ... I can't get the banana completely out of the mesh. I scrubbled it right away, then soaked it in hot soapy water, I will now be throwing it in the dishwasher too. Does anyone have any other tips. I really like this product, but if its going to be this much of a pain to clean I'm not sure what I will do.
Re: Cleaning Mesh Feeders
Why would you put a banana in a mesh feeder? Just mash it up, the baby can eat the whole thing!
Sometimes it's nice to give it to them frozen (or not) so they can hold it and feed themselves while you're getting dinner ready etc... i think that's when the mesh feeder comes in handy the most.
As for cleaning, i scrub it w/ the bottle brush but it's still hard to clean.
