sore belly button?

this sounds dumb, but my belly button really hurts. ?It's not popping out and there's no umbilical hernia, but it HURTS! ?Any ideas on how to soothe it? ?TIA and happy thanksgiving!

    Oh, I'm NOT looking forward to that happening to me. It happened to my SIL and she couldn't find a "cure". Hopefully it doesn't last long. Just another joy of pregnancy. Try to have a good turkey day!

    I don't have any suggestions for you but I experienced the same problem around 28 weeks! It went away for me, hopefully yours too will pass.

    I've had some soreness off and on. I usually would just rub it and put pressure on it.

    I had the same issue twice and I still haven't figuted out what it really is. Someone on here told me gas. The good news is that I don't think it has lasted more than about 2 days and goes away on it's own.

    My actual belly button does not hurt but the area all around it is sooo tender to the touch. I have a deep belly button so it has not "popped out" but it is getting flatter. My DD loves to rub my belly and I cant even let her rub that area any more, it hurts so bad!
