How long does it take to get AFP results? Anyone know?

I had the blood draw at my last appt. (almost 4 weeks ago) and never heard back from them with the results. I can't remember from last time if I called to get the results or if they called me. I think they called me.

they should be back by now---no news is always good news!!

when my AFP came back it was high and they called me to send me for a level II u/s....and surprise it was twins.

I got mine 8 days later. Usually they don't call if everything is good though. I'd assume there were no problems with your little one.

I had mine last Friday and they called Yesterday. However, the OB I had with DS would just wait and discuss with me at the next appointment.
