Camping with LO??

Hey Ladies,

So we had successfully gone camping a few times last summer with A, but haven't done it since she is more mobile and active. Has anyone gone this year? Any tips or recommendations? Did you take your P&P?

    We went with DD when she was the age ours are now. She slept in the PNP in the tent and then we got one of those big play pen gates and the foam alphabet floor mat and brought toys and put her in the "baby cage" to play so she couldn't go run off anywhere. It worked out just fine for us and we took her a lot.

    We're waiting to see after DS starts walking.  Right now I can't imagine he'd be happy being "trapped" in too small of a space, but I also don't want him crawling in the dirt.  I was figuring the same as PP re: PNP in tent, etc.  The big play yard is a great idea though.

    i wish i were that brave!  i miss going camping.  but between the poison ivy, the outhouse, and the lake, i just think it would be too much for dd1 to handle.

    we just went...we brought out PnP for her to sleep in, and after it rained, she played in that outside.  Before it rained, we just layed out a big blanket (queen size quilt) and put her toys on that.  She really didn't crawl off of it because her toys, and we were all on the blanket.  It was so much fun camping with her!  Have fun!!!
