Called Comcast to try to get our $43/month internet lowered.  I got it down to $39.  Ohhhhh boy.  What a deal.

We hate Comcast.  They're extremely stingy with the discounts, even though we've been with them forever.  I can't wait to move so we have a reason to switch to either Brighthouse, AT&T, DISH, etc.

When we had comcast, DH had more success going into the local office, and not calling the main CS number.  He seriously went in there every month, and sweet talked those ladies.  They gave him discounts all the time!  They said the main number goes to a call center far away, but they have the same power to discount as the call center, and don't get any grief over doing so.  But then again that was our local office in another state, not IN.  Might be worth a try, though!

Hmm...that's a thought.  I even went as far as the "well, who would I need to speak to to cancel" and she was all like, "oh, I can handle that for you.  Would you like to proceed with that?"  Oops.
