apple cider vinegar. I know it sounds gross but it is literally INSTANT relief. If it's really bad I may need to take it a couple times but usually about a tablespoon works wonders! If you wait a few seconds then drink some milk it's even better

I've always taken enzymes and drank more water. It doesn't always get rid of it immediately, but if that's the case, I just deal with it, because I don't want to take medication if I don't need to. I've tried various enzymes, and different ones work at different levels. The ones that gave almost immediate relief (during my first pregnancy 7 years ago) are no longer being made by the company, unfortunately.
Thanks ladies still waiting for Dr to call back. Kind of annoying! With my daughter I toughed it out til third tri but I can't this time I literally feel like I'm getting erosion on my esophagus and I can't even sleep. Ugh miserable
Tried baking soda, diet changes -which I dont even want to est anything anyways but that's a whole different story, zantac (ranitidine), tums, milk, ice cream, ...everything at my wit's end and miserable this pregnancy is way different!

I'm a little late on the post here, took yesterday off BUT when I went to the doctor last week I asked if my taking calcium chews was okay, the ones from GNC and she said they were fine. Then she went in to her questions starting with are you having heart burn and when I said no she proceeded with "the calcium chews that you take will help keep the heartburn at bay"
