Amber teething necklace

Who has one? My DH is nervous about her wearing it around her neck. He thinks it's a choking hazard. The necklace doesn't dangle down, so I don't know how she could really choke herself. Do you let your LO wear it around their neck, or do you make it into a bracelet or something?

Also, if you've had one for a while, is it working?

    LO wears his around his neck. No I don't think it works for him. Maybe when a tooth is cutting it will. His is definitely genuine.

    DD has one (had it about a month and a half), and it doesn't even phase her. She wears it as a necklace during the day, then I double it up and it's an anklet at night.

    I'd say it's been working. She drools constantly and had a rash around her mouth when we put it on her the first time. It had cleared up by the next day and has stayed away since. We've also cut two teeth with little fuss.

    I wouldn't worry as much about strangulation as I would that LO would pull it until it breaks, and then choke on one of the beads.
