Adopting from Russia?

I know there are a few others on this board hoping to adopt from Russia.  Our adoption has been at a standstill for a few weeks b/c of the adoption suspension between Russia and the US.  Our agency said they are hopeful that Moscow will start registering dossiers for special needs adoptions (that's us!) this week. 

Curious if anyone else has been affected by the suspension or has heard any similar or different news from their agencies?

TTC September 2010 thru October 2011
SA February 2011: Normal
RE App. October 2011 - Recc. Clomid and IUI

Taking a break from TTC to pursue adoption

Met our 2 year old son in Russia July 2012!
Court trip October 2012
Home November 24 2012!

Back to RE Summer 2013. TTC journey continues: 

Dx DOR, endometriosis, low sperm count 
Clomid + IUI#1, #2 = BFN / IUI #3 = ???

Laparoscopy scheduled December 2013

    Probably not helpful, but we went thru the same thing with Ukraine. It was frustrating, but obviously worth it in the end ;)  We've been home 11 weeks!

    Thanks- it actually helps to see people on the other side of the excruciating wait!  How long did Ukraine suspend their adoptions?

    I am just starting the process. My agency said it could take from 9-18 months.  How long have you been waiting?

    I know rep's from our agency are over there now hammering out things with the bilateral agreement. We haven't been affected yet as we haven't even sent our dossier over yet but I guess we could be slowed down some. I do know that things haven't stopped moving with our agency, only slowed slightly.
