I just thought I would share my story of my day today...now that I am on bed rest I don't have much else to do!
?I woke up at 3:45 in the morning with lower backache, contractions, and i was vomiting. ?I called my doctor and he said to go to L&D. ?I got there and they put an IV in me and hooked me up to all the monitors. ?My contractions were 3 minutes apart, but some of them were not even strong enough for me to feel. ??When they checked my cervix it was still closed. ?The contractions were not changing my cervix which was great news. But he has already dropped and she could feel his head even. ?But they still wanted to stop the contractions in case they did start to get stronger or start to change my cervix. ?They gave me a shot of something that started with Trib? ?I can't remember what it was called. ?
Soon after the shot I started to have a horrible headache and my heart was racing. ?My heart rate actually exceeded baby's. ?At one point mine was 145 bpm and his was 139. ?My whole arm was blood red. ?It turns out I am allergic to this shot. ?So we had to wait for it to pass my system and them gave me an oral medicine to stop the contractions and this one worked successfully. ?
After about 12 hours I was finally starting to feel a little better. ?They sent me home on bed rest until further notice. ?So I really don't post on here much. ?But now that I am on bed rest I think that I will be much more. ?I am just so happy that we were able to keep him inside today...and hopefully for atleast another month!...If you are still reading this..I am sorry it is so long and thanks for reading!
