IUI was a bust, and a ?

So IUI #1 didn't work. This sucks. We were not trying to get our hopes up too much, but we thought we had a good chance. I can't help but second guess some things about this cycle and wonder if we really did everything we could. I guess I need to look forward to next month and hope for the best. I am still waiting for my RE to call back with a plan for next cycle and AF to show up. 

My question is this..... How long should I expect to have to wait for AF to show? I was on a low dose of progesterone(50mg once a day before bed) and I realize that can delay things, but I have no idea how long it delays things. I am figuring maybe a few days? I am ready to have a cocktail, ride a roller coaster and blow off some steam this weekend before my next cycle begins!!! 

Me: 37, DH: 35 :: TCC since 2/11 SA: Perfect! CD3  HSG = Blocked Right Tube
April- Femara 2.5mg + Trigger + IUI = BFN   May- Femara 5mg = CX - No Response on Left = BFN
June- Femara 7.5mg + Trigger + IUI = BFN  August- Lap & Hysteroscopy = Blocked & Partially Blocked Tubes
September- Femara 5mg = CX - No Response on Left = BFN  October- 100mg Clomid + Trigger + TI = BFN
IVF # 1: Stims 11/30 ER 12/12/12! (10R, 10M, 8F, 2T, 6 F) :: Beta #1- 176  c/p @ 4w4d
FET #1 February 26th :: Lost 4 to Thaw, Transferred 2 = BFFN
IVF # 2 Stims 5/10 ER 5/21 (15R, 13M, 13F, 2T, 7F- 6d3 & 1d5) :: Beta # 1- 15 c/p @ 4w
FET #2 Cancelled, Right Tube Developed a Hydro  8/28 Hydro & Scar Tissue Removed  Cleared for FET
FET #2.2 Scheduled for September 20th
2 Thawed, 2 Transferred! Beta #1- 96, Beta #2 906! :: EDD June 10th
2015- 2 failed FET. We are done
SURPRISE! BFP 8/8/16   EDD 4/1/17

    I got my period 16 days after my IUI.  It was my very first LP so I don't know if the progesterone made it longer or not.

    Sorry about the BFN. I've heard a few days after stopping progesterone is when AF should show. FOr me I got AF the very next day after stopping progesterone.

    I've been told its a similar time frame as taking BCPs. When you take your last actual pill, AF shows 2-3 days later, and thats what they told me to expect with progesterone, 2-3 days after stopping.

    Then again, we all respond differenlty, so you could get AF the next day or a week later.

    It took 3 days for me.  I was on 300mg/day (1 morning, 2 evening).
    Me: 32, DH: 45... TTC #1 since May 2010
    July - Nov 2011: Testing with OB... OB said everything looks good
    March - Sept 2012: Moved to RE.. 4 treatment cycles - responses of one or no follicles
    09.03.12: Diagnosed Poor Ovarian Response.. DE IVF only option
    Feb - Nov 2012: Pursued Adoption. That door slammed shut.
    12.23.12: Surprise BFP (first ever)... 12.25 - 12.31: Natural M/C

    DX: Anovulation
    TX: IUI #1-4 = BFN + 1 c/p
    IUI #5: Clomid 100mg + Bravelle + Trigger + B2B IUIs + 800mg Progesterone = BFP!
    Beta #1 (14dpiui): 460 Beta #2 (16dpiui): 998 Beta #3 (23dpiui): 21,832 Beta #4 (29dpiui): 129,771

    When I was on 200mg a day it took 2 days to get my period after stopping progesterone.  Now that I am on 800mg it takes 3-4 days.

     

    Oy!!!!  I'm on 200mg and last month I got my period on day 14 while still taking the suppositories....and I'm imagining she will show up tomorrow while still on them too!!!  Maybe I need a higher dosage to hold the period off....or a baby, LOL sorry, IF humor
