Rectal Rockets?

Has anyone used these for hemorrhoid help? Would you recommend them?

My doc suggested them after telling me I had some of the worst hemmies she's ever seen. I'm nervous about actually inserting something in there with them this bad.

I have no experience with this but any product called "rectal rocket" sounds horrifying to me.

I also have no experience with this, but I definitely thought that you were about to ask about some anal beads or something. 

I'm going to go ahead and say that if your doctor recommended it, then it can't really hurt (figuratively) to try them.

Is that what they're really called, or is that like their "street name"?  I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall for when that marketing team for the company was hashing out the name.  Rectal rockets.  bahahahahaha

I obviously have nothing to contribute, but I hope they work for you.  what about good ol' tucks pads?  those are for hemorrhoids right?

While I'm desperate to help mine, I don't think I could put anything up there. I've used the internal medicine applicator only a couple of times because it just hurts too damn bad to do it more.

My OB is removing mine at delivery.

I was prescribed some hydrocortisone suppositories for my hemis earlier in my pregnancy. They also resembled little golf tees. Not sure if it is similar to the "rocket" but it helped a lot, especially with (ahem) rectal bleeding from some horrible hemis.

I've been using the tucks pads, but they're not helping things heal much. I need these things to go away or get smaller so I can sit down comfortably.

Nothing constructive to add, but I giggled when I saw Butt Paste. It doesn't sound like what you apply to the baby's bottom. It sounds like what comes out of the baby's bottom.

I have nothing constructive to add, but this thread amuses me (until I give birth and have awful hemroids, I'm sure).

Also, Witch Hazel can help to soothe them. Definitely not a cure, but it's worth a try.
