recommend your diaper pail..

I am throwing out my diaper champ.  It does not keep the smell in at all.  After about 2 weeks we stopped putting poop diapers in and tried to air out but it still smells.  I still would like one for convenience so what one keeps the smell in?

    I have the diaper dekor and we love it! The trap door locks so little hands can't get stuck.?It keeps the smell in wonderfully. The only down side is that you need special bags for it, but it's a small price to pay to keep the odor in.?

    Diaper Dekor, it's the best. You smell nothing at all. We have it right by the door and if you were to smell it you would right away and nothing!

    I have the first years one and I love it. It's a little loud when you shut it, but it's been stank free from day one and I can use regular 13 oz bags.

    I second the diaper dekor.  Eventhough you have to buy special bags, they last forever.  I just love that you cant smell anything!!

    Been very happy with my diaper champ for 18 months now. Does a great job, we change the bag once a week.

    We started with the Diaper Genie II and hated it.  The bags were so expensive, only lasted 3 changes, and were such a waste of money!  BUT, it kept the smell in better than the Champ.  I agree.... STINKY!!!  I hate to get a third one, so we're just dealing with it for now.  I'm sure I might feel differently when the little guy starts on solids.  Fun.

    I second the Diaper Champ. ?We had it in our living room for the first 4 months and there were never smell issues. ?It doesn't have a door, so you don't have to worry about the smell until you are taking out the bag. ?I bought it mainly because it uses regular trash bags. ?I didn't want to have to buy special bags. ?

    We have the Safety First and love it... it's cheap, takes regular trash bags and doesn't require any special refills.  We use mini scented bags to bag poopy diapers just in case before we throw them in there.
