I don't think merely having a boy would be to blame. If you're concerned then I'd ask your doctor for genetic testing to be done on you and your spouse and see if there is a condition that can only be passed down to boys at play. That is the only thing that I can think of that could put one sex over the other at a greater risk.
If you know that you m/c boys, then I would recommend kerotyping on you and DH. There are some genetic disorders that can only be passed through males. If you are assuming the three were males and did not have any testing completed to confirm this then I would recommend a basic work up by a RE including a RPL panel. Also, I imagine if you did have genetic testing on the m/c and confirmed they were males then they would have also done testing to determine if anything was abnormal with them?
I don't know about any studies but my mom had 6 ms and they were all girls.
But you're a girl as well (I assume from your avatar pic), so that wouldn't support the theory the OP is saying.
OP, my MIL had 4 boys with 3 m/cs between DS3 and DS4. She used Shettles because she really wanted a girl, and is convinced to this day that all 3 of her m/c's were girls, but that's her assumption based on the fact that she used Shettles. I don't think I've read of any studies saying that some women can't carry one sex or the other to term. If anything, then I would assume it's something like a PP suggested - there might be some chromosomal abnormality carried on the Y chromosome that would cause any boys to be miscarried. How do you know they were all boys, though?
