Finally, finally, at long last my daughter STTN

Never thought it would happen.  Turns out she has had a damn soy intolerance and we've been giving her soy formula (supplemented with breastmilk) since December when my supply started dropping due to the pregnancy.  Wish I knew this back then.  I could have been sleeping all this time!

Anyway, hi everyone.  Gonna have a baby soon :)

Re: Finally, finally, at long last my daughter STTN

  • Congrats! I'm glad you found a solution. Looks like she's STTN just in time.

DD still has never STTN. I started a very gradual night weaning schedule (she's BF) last night to hopefully extend time between feedings (and eventually eliminate them). I plan to BF her past one year, but I cannot do the every 2-3 hour feedings around the clock anymore. I'm drained.

    Good luck with baby #2!

  • Thanks :)  I'm hoping that last night wasn't a fluke.  I don't mind one quick wake-up, but she was waking up screaming and fussing and staying awake for 1-3 hours in the middle of the night every night for months.  That I cannot deal with.  Good luck with the night weaning!
