IUI - I'm going CRAZY

I had my IUI on the 8th and this time between then and my blood test is making me CRAZY!  I feel tired and I can't stop eating but I know it's all nerves and pretty sure it's not a sign of early pregnancy!  My blood test is on the 23rd and I am just trying to stay busy!  Ahhhhh!

Anyone else experience this??

UPDATE:

OK...so, haven't gotten my period yet andjust got home from the lab for a blood test. I'm nervous and excited all at the same time! Ahhh! Wish me luck and keep your fingers crossed for me!

Are you taking any form of progesterone? That always makes me hungry and, sadly, mimics symptoms of early pregnancy.  It's a cruel trick!

Hang in there and good luck. :)

  • Hey - Nope, not taking anything other than a prenatal vitamin, calcium, and omega 3-6-9 (all of which I was told should be taken during pregnancy).

I'm trying, I'm lucky I am in Canada and we have a long weekend so I'm hoping not being at work infront of the computer will keep my mind off of what's coming on Wednesday :)

Well, good luck to you.  I just had an IUI, too, after a canceled IVF cycle.  Sadly, my attitude has changed about these things, but I remember those 2ww days and wondering how we'd get through them with our sanity.  It's tough, but you can do it!

I am with you....waiting for my blood test on the 25!!!!  I got so anxious that I POAS today....good news is it was negative so that means that my hCg trigger is out of my system and I can hopefully trust a postive next week when I test (keeping my fingers crossed).  I had promised I wouldn't test early...but I just can't help it.  I keep looking up when is the earliest you can test (I triggered last Tuesday at 10:30pm) even though I know the answers.

    Here's to going crazy together!

  • I am so glad this "craziness" isn't just me!  Haha.  I plan on doing a bunch of little day trips over the long weekend to keep my mind off things....cross your fingers that it works.  Good luck to the other ladies going crazy along with me ;)
  • Ok...I'm having a really hard time with this.Sad  I had my blood test yesterday afternoon and I received a phone call from the clinic today and she starts with "We got your results and there is good news and bad news".  How am I supposed to take that??

She said that my pregnancy levels came back but they were quite low.  Meaning (apparently) that there was an attempt at fertilization but nothing materialized.  She said that it's good that there was an attempt and that we can try again this month (yippee...sarcasm...I'm still waiting for the good news).  I'm currently on day 32 with no sign of a period.  I didn't ask enough questions as I was at work when they called, but I'm wondering if the low levels could just mean that we tested too early???

And the waiting game continues Sad
