Cheapest - $159,900 2BR 2 Bath 1,198 sq ft condo
Most Expensive - $795,900 very contemporary, 4 bedroom, 4 bath 4,296 Sq feet. This is the best picture they have. It's the back of the house though.
Neither do I but maybe when you have 8mil to drop on a house you may also need to $h!t out a few hundred k in one of your many bathrooms LOL

Well this is kind of sad, most of the least expensive houses are not much worse-looking than my house. And this one is much bigger, 4 br/2 ba for $39,000:
This one is 1.4 million. Still only 4 bedrooms! 4000 sf, 3.5 baths. It does have a dock on a river though. For your yacht, you know.

I couldn't bring myself to even consider posting any of the other pictures. Here's the thing: it is located in what is known as the "Old West End"...Lots of turn of the century 'mansions' and such and so many of them are run down. There has been a movement in the last 10-20 years to buy these houses and restore them to their former glory (one of my friends did this a few years ago and her house is falling apart faster than she can reno it...and she's dropped a shitton of money in it so far) but it is smack dab in the middle of one of the worst areas in the city. DH HATES when I go to visit this friend in the evening.
Umm yeah.. they need to play up the insides !

I think at one point, there were actually incentives to buying the houses I mentioned earlier. It had been a lifelong dream of my friend to by one of these houses and restore them. The first one she was about to buy burned to the ground the day she was supposed to close on it.

I maybe a bit bias and an UO, but why would you need that much space? I mean you have to have 5 kids just to justify all that space. I think that people who own these types of houses need to give more money to charity.

I do not think that is too much house. We have a 3350 sq ft house and if we could I think we would get a bigger one. When the basement is finished it will be 5 bed 3.5 bath. We plan to foster, so the extra room will be used, but if we could also have a space dedicated to crafts, or a study, or even just a guest room. But it would be a lot cheaper out here than that.
